August 9, 2015: 60 yrs of Aussie cricketing history in Chennai at Crowne Plaza Adyar Park

Visit to Hotel Adyar Park for exhbition on "60 years of Australian cricketing history in the city" by the Australian consulate was disappointing. The exhibits were bad in quality and the photographs culled from articles in The Hindu. Starting from the first test tour by Australia in 1956, the exhbits covered only test match and ODI tours.  Other first class tours such as those by the Maharajah of Patiala's Australian XI and the Australian Services team before independence, were completely ignored. Perhaps, it might have also been a little better had they included a brief history of Australian cricket tours of Chennai also.
